Cortvriend will represent the people of District 72
Although not lucky enough to be one of her constituents, I have had the pleasure of interacting with Terri over the past 4 years, and whenever I’ve needed help on something, she has been there to help without hesitation. I wholeheartedly urge those living in District 72 to vote for the reelection of Terri Cortvriend as your State Representative.
Terri is a fierce advocate for the environment, public education, affordable housing and helping local businesses survive during these very uncertain times, not only for Middletown and Portsmouth, but all of Aquidneck Island. Although a newcomer to the state assembly last year, her first year was a resounding success. We need more people like Terri who will represent our community, putting our interests first, rather than blindly following along with the “status quo.” She does that by talking with residents and business owners in her district; really listening to their concerns about the future. If she doesn’t have the answer, she goes out and finds it for you. That is the kind of person I want to have in the Statehouse working for me.
Again, although I can’t vote for her, I strongly encourage those in District 72 to make sure Terri stays in the State house to represent you.
